Going back to the terrorist attack.

I am pleased your husband is ok oldspice, I know it was a very worrying
time. At times like that it does make you count your blessings.

London is pretty much back to normal now. From what I have seen on the
morning and evening trains, it has not stopped people from coming into
work. Some bits are a little surreal, like when I look up the side
streets and see the police cordens, I remember why they are there.

P.S Ken has my backing.

Thanks choc chick. He is still unable to work because his cab is parked only ten yards from the exploded bus and the forensic team is still conductingfinger tip search of the very centre of the blast area. We don't know how badly damaged the cab is yet. From pictures they have shown us, the cab is covered in debris but we can only see the side of the cab parked away from the blast.

It has made us count our bessings. he could so easily have been sitting in the cab at the time. We are very blessed.

I can't help thinking about the poor man who was blown out of a tube train and under the wheels of an approaching train. All those poor relatives clinging onto hope.

We are so lucky.

Old but spicey!

There are a lot of what if's in a situation like this. When me and my
work mate go for a walk at lunchtime that is one of the routes we take
as it is a pleasent area.

I am just pleased the police seemed to have tracked down the people responsible.

Yeah its good news. Also a little scary though. These lads are very young to be involved in this sort of thing. Also they have come from a densely populated muslim area which worries me even more. If there is someone putting ideas into impressionable teenagers heads we could be in for a whole shed-load more trouble...

I absolutely agree. I feel strongly that these are young people with a deep religious faith and that they have been corrupted by people with a deeper mission, people who are using these youngsters. Because of that, I mourn these young people.

Save your pity for their victims. the bombers had a choice. The victims didn't.

We must see the wider picture and not bury our heads in the sand

The problem wont go away.  However we must put the victims and their families first and never forget them.
