Maltesers....
« on: June 25, 2005, 10:09:44 pm »
It's been 6 weeks since I had maltesers and today I bought some and they taste horrible. The chocolate tastes greasy and rather cooking chocolatified. Has anyone else noticed this or is it my taste buds playing tricks on me.

It might have been a bad batch but they have deteriorated.

I thought perhaps with me dieting and not eating as much choc as usual it might have been my taste buds but my friend said she thought they tasted different too.

Well I shared a pouch of them and a pouch of Revels tonight and I thought they were fine.

Straight from the fridge, mind.

The white choc Maltesers taste greasy and bland, no idea why they're so popular. Ages since I had milk choc ones.

I will have to try some now to test lou's theory!

I really fancy plain choc Maltesers. i think the combination of plain choc and malt would go well.

Old but spicey!

I'm thinking it's a taste bud thing cos I just had a Twirl and didn't enjoy it.

I had some last week and I thought there were fine. Might have been a bad batch like bounty suggested.

Hi Buddhafella, welcome. She's right - there was a coconut one some years ago.
