Thanks pham. Unfortunately because of the diet there's no cake but I am going out for a meal tonight and I suspect it will be chinese.

I'm not embarrassed to say I am now 39. However next year I will be 38 as I will start deducting.

Went out for Chinese on Monday, got so drunk I fell over. Hungover all Tuesday then out for an Italians with friends last night. Today I am going shopping in Newcastle and tomorrow it's shopping at the metrocentre followed by a French restaurant. Can you believe how long I am making this birthday celebration last.

Presents included lots of silk underwear (calm down bounty), hairdryer, perfumes, bangle, earrings, watch and money for my favourite pastime of shoe shopping.

That's already sorted. I plan to be on holiday in Monaco, getting very drunk and pretending to be 39 still.

You got a lovely load of presents there lou.

I got some presents from work today...a cake, a bottle of Rose, some pink note books, a pink pen set, a pink bookmark, some chocolates, a fruit bowl and a garlic bread plate for my new house and a lovely card.

My birthday is not until sunday so mine is being spread out as well!
