There are three bars I remember, which few others seem to recollect.  They are Country Style, Terry's Crispy Caramel and here's the one - Take two.  I have never come across another human being who can recall a take Two.  They were credit card sized, about 4mm thick with a firm orange or coffee fondant centre.  You got two in a packet hence the name.

I do remember Country Style - didn't it have a sort of beige tweedy effect wrapper (and a pair of green wellies ). Can't remember what it consisted of though.

I do remember Take Two bars, well the orange ones at least - can't recall coffee ones though. Country STyle rings a bell - was it at least part muesli/faux health food?

Country Style was made by Cadburys and had a gingham wrapper. It was CDM with biscuit and raisin. Very nice chilled.

I think Terry's Crispy Caramel was like Toffee Crisp?

Take Two rings a bell but who made it and how long ago? It's a bit foggy.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I'm new to the site!  I remember Take Two and loved them - the varieties were Marzipan, Vanilla, Orange, Coffee and I think Mint?  I think there were only 5 varieties.  And I seem to remember that the Marzipan ones were rectangular, whereas all the others were rounded at the ends (Bounty-shaped).  I'm sure Marzipan and Vanilla were covered in plain chocolate, not sure about the others.  At a guess I'd say they were made by Terry's, but that's only a guess.

Don't think so, BK, but I can't remember much about the wrapper detail - I think each variety had a different coloured wrapper though.

Oldspice - they were definitely out in 1978/79, me & my sister had one every day on the way back from school.  Not sure when they disappeared!
