Mint Ferrero Rocher’s
« on: October 12, 2004, 08:14:33 pm »

Following on from my post about Terry's Chocolate Pyramint I thought I'd continue the mint theme with another blast from the past.

The only reason I know of the existence of this chocolate is because I once received it as a Christmas Present way back when (probably the early 90's).  I know a few people my own age have memories of this so I'm expecting quite a few of you to remember too!  Don't know if it was a limited edition or just an ill fated market expansion but I know I once ate....

MINT FERERRO ROCHER'S.

And what's more they were stunning with a "unique" liquid mint centre.  I never saw another box of them again but perhaps I was too young to know if they were available thereafter.  I actually thought I had imagined them but them sometime last year I found the very same "Mint ferrero rocher" tub housing some screws in our shed!  When I return home next, I will have to be sure to scan it! :)

Anybody else remember?

I've heard rumours about these but never actually tasted or seen them. I HATE the original chocs, but would go for a mint variety as i am a mint choc fan.

Old but spicey!

Yes I sampled these one Christmas many moons ago. Members of my family mourn their passing.

They were good.

I remember these being advertised in the 90's. I am saying the 90's as that would be the decade that I remember. I dont think I ever tasted them. But they did exist!

Ferrero Rocher have a 'selection box' out at the mo. When I was in Woolworths at the weekend I see a box of Ferrero Rocher, Cheri Moi (?) and 1 other. Anyone else seen this?

I saw them in Woolworths. They are in the same sort of flat box that you would get about 20 ferrero rochers in. I am guessing they only bring them out at Christmas?

Is the clothing store called "What Everyone Wants"? Ten years ago our store closed, then re-opened half the original size. The rest they sold/leased to What Everyone Wants - the clothing equivelent of Poundland.

Not what everyone wants at all then!  Sounds a bit like Marks & Spencer which seem to keep closing and be replaced by Primark.
