Milkshake shop in Greenwich
« on: May 03, 2005, 03:50:47 pm »
I discovered a milkshake shop in Greenwich yesterday that put any
chocolate bar you liked into a milkshake. The choice was amazing. All
the CDM's, Twix, Twirl, Wagon Wheels, Bounty's, Snicker's, Jelly
Babies, Jelly Tots, Marshmellow, various biscuits. The list was
endless! We intend to work our way through all of them for research
purposes.

How they made them: into a blender went a dask of milk, a couple of
scoops of ice cream and then the bar, biscuit, sweet or fruit of your
choice. It was then whizzed and put into a cup with a stair.

Sounds good. Was there a choice of ice cream flavour?

They pretty much had every bar imagineable!! The list of bars filled an
entire wall of the shop! But I don't see why you couldn't take your
own.

No it was just vanilla, the flavour comes from what bar, sweet or fruit
you put in it. I think I will be trying chocolate hob nob next time or
maybe maltesers!

Cant you just make your own, it would be cheaper.

I have a blender so may give it a go. I cant imagine though what a Twix would be like - wouldnt the biscuit bits get all soggy?

We've got a shop that does that too Choccy Chick - they are wonderful!  I think my favourites so far are Maltesers and Toblerone.

Glad you know what I am talking about goldencup! It's a wonderful
little shop and you can see the milkshake being made from start to
finish. They have hit on something, as the shop was very busy.

It's true, you can make your own. Before I see the shop it was
something that I had never thought of doing before. Think a blender
will go on our wedding list, if we don't get on before hand.

I have no idea how the twix will go, I will take great pleasure in finding out though!

When I get my blender replaced I shall be trying it. Hmmm I wonder what Caramac milkshake would taste like.

I'm still wondering about the 'cup with a stair' though.  Is that to help you dig out all the bits of chocolate?
