Good grief, if I am on their website it tells me they don't deliver to my postcode, depsite the van driving past my house almost daily!

Tesco are liars. That promise to open every till until they're all open if there's more than one person in front of you? What happened to that the last time I was in the big one in Brum and the queues were halfway round the store, and they actually started CLOSING checkouts?
