Choc-orange Snack a jacks
« on: April 19, 2005, 11:34:58 pm »
Tried some the other day and thought they were ok but wouldnt buy them again. Anyone else tried?

Also I see that they do some sort of Smarties cake bites in tubs now,
covered in milk choc and with Smarties inside the cake bits.

I don't like any kind of Snack a Jacks so I'll pass on these.  I saw the Smarties cake bites in my local cheapie shop a couple of weeks ago but didn't buy them.

Haven't tried the orange yet but two of the women in my office are obsessed with Snack a Jacks, so I'm sure I will.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I prefer the Snack a Jacks Bites. They ham and cheese flavour is yum!

Has any one tried the Quaker Seasons? I have tried the Cheese and Chive
flavour and I think they are the next best substitute to crisps.

Yes I like those too. I used to be totally addicted to crisps (even more so than chocolate!) but since I started exercising properly I have lost most of my food cravings. A packet of Seasons at the weekend is plenty so I don't really eat crisps now

I'm not a fan of snack a jacks though. To me, snacks like those are supposed to be savoury so I wouldn't try the choc orange flavour ... I don't like my sweets and savouries mixed together

No I haven't tried all the flavours of Quaker Seasons. Which do you recommend? I like the cheese & chive but am open to suggestions for others to try. My local shop only had cheese & chive left so I don't know how many flavours there are in total. I'll have to go back and see what's in stock!

Theres Cheese and Chive, Caribean Chicken and Salt and Black Pepper.
There might be one more but I can't think what it is. I like the Cheese
and Chive ones the best but the Caribean Chicken is also nice. The Salt
and Black Pepper ones were a bit plan really.

Don't think I'll bother with the salt & pepper ones but the chicken sounds nice. I'll be looking out for them this weekend!

The Salt and Pepper ones would go nice with dip I think. As the flavour isn't too over powering.

I agree, make ur tongue feel all funny if you eat too many in one go tho. My fav is the carribean chicken flavour, even tho i cant work out how they are supposed to taste like chicken, because in my opinion they taste like paprika and other spices but definately not chicken.

That's what I thought. Still a nice flavour though.
