Terry’s chocolate lemon

Chocolate lemons didn't last very long and not surprising really -blinkin' horrible!

Also, what happened to Banjo Bars ? They used to be called Trophy Bars util the Trophy Brewery complained. Remember the TV jingle?

Altogether now....

Sing to the tune of "Oh Susannah"

"Banjo! Banjo! The one for me and you

Light and crispy wafer plus roast nut flavour too."

I really need to get out more.

I seem to remember a Terry's product that was a plain chocolate barrel-shape, hollow in two halves like an Easter egg, and filled with lemon fondant-filled plain chocolate barrels. Was this the chocolate lemon you mean or was there an actual solid lemon at one time??

It was a solid chocolate lemon shaped thing like the orange. Not sure what the fondant thing you are describing is other than one of the centres that used to be in the old selection of Terrys All Gold.

I remember them too (must have been early '80s), and have been on the lookout ever since!  It is frustrating (is it not?) when people look at you like you've got two heads when you describe a product that you know jolly well existed, or think that you're confusing it with something else.  Grrrrrrrrr!

I remember those barrel-shaped lemon filled things too! I am also certain they came in a barrel-shaped shell. It's true that the same chocolate appeared in Terry's All Gold chocolates - but then why not if they also made the lemon barrels?

Old but spicey!

Love Terrys chocolate oranges in milk, and dark. I had one during Christmas in the milk, and as I type this I still have part of the dark chocolate orange heh.
