Where’s Choccy Chick?

Where are you Choccy Chick?  Still recovering from your Easter chocolate binge after all that deprivation during Lent?  I wanted to hear what you thought of all that new choc you saved up!

Maybe she is away getting some oats to go with her chocolate.

Hello everyone.

I was off work over Easter, which I spent shopping and eating chocolate and then I went to Blackpool.

  • I am in love with Caramac Kit Kats, pretty much the best Kit Kat there is. Please Nestle don't take it away from me.

  • Orange Rolo's are yum too, prefer the normal ones, but nice for a change.

  • Mint Yorkie is pretty good as well, nice mintiness to it.

  • The Caramel Creme, Chocolate Creme and Alpine Milk Rittersports are also really yum.

  • Nestle Cafe Latte (USA?) is out of this world. If you like coffee
chocolate, you will love this. Cafe Caramel was also nice, but the
    Latte was just edging it.

  • Cadburys Malt Crisp and Caramel Triple (AUS?) are a fantastic addition to their range.

  • Had 2 of the Wonka bars that the USA brought out to run alongside the film but they were a let down. Hope our attempt is better.

  •
  • Aero Bubbles rock, for the first time I felt the bubbles melt.

  •
  • Green & Blacks milk is very strong, you can tell it's good
quality.  Not sure I like it as much as I do Lindt but you can
taste why it is so expensive. You can taste the cocoa bean a lot more
than you can with Lindt, with the Lindt I think you taste the milk more
so. The Green & Blacks White on the other hand is something else.
Really creamy and rich, didn't want to share this with my boyfriend!

Lindt is my number one chocolate now. I ate a whole Lindt egg last
sunday whilst watching Kill Bill 1 and 2. Oh and my jeans still fit

Sounds like a good Easter to me. Don't think much of the Yorkie Mint but agree about Caramac KitKats. Would like to get my hands on Caramel Creme Rittersport and Cadbury's Malt Crisp.

Does anyone remember Ovaltine Bars? They had a lovely malty taste.

Old but spicey!

Oh yes, I LOVED Ovaltine bars.  For some reason I always associate them with train stations - they had them in those vending machines, along with Dairy Crunch.  I saw a whole selection of Ritter in a local shop the other day but managed not to look too closely.

I have only recently started eating Ritter Sport and it is really good quality chocolate. Up there with Lindt in my opinion.

I don't know....I am suprised my jeans still fit, but they do.

I have also tried:

  • Mars Dark. Very nice thank you Paulham  It was very kind of you

  • Exploding Smarties Bar. Tasty, liked the edition of the popping candy. Good for a change.

  • Flyte Bar. Big thumbs up. Tasted nice and nothing is simialr to it.

My pleasure ( it is something you CAN measure, oooer!), CC.

Another convert-Flyte isn't sh*te.

I like Ritter too- the mint one. Strangely for a European bar it has hydrogenated vegetable fat. naughty.
