I keep meaning to buy the GN's, but I never get around to it. Have you heard of a series called American Vampire? I suppose that counts because they're undead!

Nope. I'm guessing it's worthy of mention then?

It's a comic by DC/Vertigo featuring all kinds of different vampires and a really bad one called Skinner Sweet! It comes highly recommended.

It's very good stuff, plus it will have a definite end.

Good. I love an excellent story, but it makes it 200% better when an ending has been guaranteed from the beginning. (Yes, everyone on the production team of 'Lost', I am looking in your direction!)

Going back to movies... anyone else doing backflips over the new, extended version of The Wicker Man they unearthed this year and is getting a bluray release soon? I just can't wait to see that.

I'll definitely be getting this when the price lowers a bit. It's a shame the inserts are SD, but then again it's good to have a Director's Cut. It's my birthday soon and my wife has got me The Brides of Dracula and The Evil of Frankenstein on Blu  :D

I better not mention that she bought me the double Blu's of The Thing as well! Haven't even seen the prequel yet.

Wouldn't bother with the prequel/remake/reboot thingy. I was not very impressed. Can't hold a candle to what Carpenter did.

I'll watch it anyway, but The Thing is a cast iron classic. They don't really make 'em like that any more.
