Well the sun is shining, it's my 28th (gulp!) wedding anniversary and I had some lovely presents!  Unfortunately though, husband went to work at 8 am and I'm busy playing two shows today so won't see him all day!

But these things do make me happy! Everyone hates fascist dictators who run governments using military regimes. So, when they die, it's a good thing! Everyone is happy!  :D

But, maybe that's too strong...

Hmm, positive...

Flash Gordon is alive! Now, that's positive!!!

It's a beutiful sunny day, I've done my marking and lesson planning, the washing is drying on the clothes line and I spent the morning at a car boot sale where I got some lovely retro glass and ceramic pieces for a few pence. How good is that?

AND - for those who remember the 70s, I got a Stylophone for £3 and my efforts at playing 'Telstar' have sent the cats behind the sofa!

We love them. He buys old LPs and I buy ceramics and glass from the 50s, 60s and 70s and lots of other odds and ends like old shelf units, shabby old chairs and other strange stuff. I once bought a huge knitted Womble for £2 which started by daughter (then a fully grown 20 year old) having a passion for Wombles and now her little cottage is stuffed with them.

We love charity shops too.
