i've had a run in with chas and dave. i was about 6 and my mum and nan took me to one of their shows. we sat front row, right in the centre. well, i found their 'melodies' a little too loud for my tiny ears and sat there the whole time with my hands clasped firmly over my ears, gritting my teeth. they kept looking down off the stage at me and seemed to be very offended by my tinnitus-protecting ways. needless to say i have avoided their 'music' ever since.
