Easter eggs
« on: March 22, 2005, 04:36:09 pm »

Too Me I think they are a rip off but each to their own I suppose.

Although I am impressed with Cadbury's bringing out a fruit and nut egg (the egg itself made of fruit and nut) and also a Cadbury's one.

I have heard though not seen it there is a Maltesers eggs (again egg is made of chocolate and maltesers)

Damn, I'd forgotten about that - I was going to ask for that one! I will have to grab one on Easter Monday when they all go on sale...

There's also a Cadbury Crunchie egg with crunchie in the shell, and a
Cadbury mini egg one with crushed mini eggs in the shell. And also I
think there's a Yorkie egg with a chunky shell.

I'm having a fruit and nut egg for Easter hmmmm yummy yummy.

I'm having a banana because it's less fattening.

Perhaps to make it tastier you could dip it in melted chocolate.

Or have it before the chocolate egg. Something good equals out the something bad.

I got my nephew a malteser egg. It was £9.99 and looks big with all the packaging but when he opens it there is only a hollow egg with a box of maltesers. Probably about £3.00 of choc and £7 of plastic wrapping.

I got my sons Malteser eggs, hope they're better value than the one you got Loulou, but probably not.  I saw Smarties eggs with Smarties squashed into the actual large egg so I may look out for one of those when they sell them off next week.  Three weeks without any choc whatsoever now and feeling virtuous - Choccy Chick I don't know how you've managed it!

Shoe box and some chocs will always be cheaper.

And just as much fun.

Easter Eggs this year are too 'industrial'.  Where are all the fluffy bunnies and things?
