Ah, jamboree bags - sigh!  What a load of rubbish they contained.

I have a Smurf from a Kinder Egg. Unfortunately his legs seem to have disappeared somewhere over the years :(

Is a legless Smurf hard to manage?

Depends how much he vomits and sings.

i'm guessing this was before my time.

Yes! They were a sort of sealed paper bag (very cheap waxy paper) with Jamboree Bag emblazoned across the front in that cheap rpint that comes off on your hand. Inside was a soft stale toffee - a joke on a bit of paper like a Christmas cracker - sometimes a tattoo transfer - and a cheap toy. They were the outraqgeous price of 3 old pence (that we used to call 'threepence' with the double ee making a short vowel sound rather than long).

My mum forbade me to buy them but I could not resist. I was ALWAYS disappointed!
Old but spicey!

I used to get Jamboree bags off the ice cream man in the 70's. They were crap!
