William and Kate
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:01:47 am »
I am not a particular fan of the royals - but I do wish this young couple all the happiness any young couple starting out deserves. They will face special challenges and will not have the freedom other young couples enjoy - so good luck to you Willie and Kate. God bless you.

I agree.  And maybe there'll be a Bank Holiday?

I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of a big Royal wedding. I know there's been a lot of fuss about how long it's taken and that she's not a Lady or similar, but isn't it better that William took the time to get to know and fall in love with someone, rather than being pressured into a loveless marriage just because the bride's a virgin with the right lineage?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Well, I'm quite anti-Royal and despise these oh, so lavish occasions when there are people around the world who can't feed themselves everyday.  I feel the same about U2 concerts...

Well it just goes to show what problems can arise if you're waiting for a virgin. I mean - when Charles was searching - there were only two left - Diana or Anne Widdecombe!

Look at the comparisons as to when Charlie & Di tied the knot

1) Tory government

2) Mass unemployment

3) Recession

Funny that...
