jesus - that sounds pretty screwed up! makes 'murder set pieces' and 'guinea pig: flowers of flesh and blood' look pretty damn tame!
maybe this is 'cinema' going too far... but remember - that's just what they said about 'i spit on your grave' all those years ago, and that's pretty tame by todays standards (though the bbfc seem to disagree with me on that one.) it's and interesting debate, dr.t... and as i'm very anti-censorship and have more than a passing interest in the 'horror/slasher' genre (if that's what you can even class this as), part of me is already considering getting it imported. i'm heading to melon-famers to see what they say about it before i decide.
i was brought up watching alot of exploitation movies, such as 'cannibal ferox' and 'cannibal holocaust' etc., which is just full of things i (nowadays) find worse than the above movie like animal torture and mutilation. this is a tough subject, and one i'm truly in two minds about.
for the record - i'd rather watch hitchcock than any of the above mentioned films.
