Valentines Day
« on: February 13, 2010, 08:54:00 am »
OK, so what 'romantic' chocolate have you given away or received?

I know I'm getting a regular toblerone with the special wrapper (although our recent chocolate trading co order probably counts as a romantic gesture too  ;) )

I bought some Hotel Chocolat champagne truffles today and the manager gave me and my wife some milky praline heart choc's gratis!  All because they didn't have any in stock in packet form.

We went out for a meal at Frankie and Bennies (I think that's what it's called) and were surprised to get a Rolo each after the bill was paid ... I thought maybe a mint but not a Rolo!

I'd rather have a rolo than a mint. Shame it wasn't those solid silver ones though :-)

I suppose it was that old 'Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo thing....' which most people probably don't even remember.

I had to look up Valentin'es Day.  Seems this is unique to your planet.  The nearest thing, is    zyt^gv's day on Arcturus B-29 where the men give the girls bouquets of the Zxxdext flower on the first day of Flsk.
