Milka with Dime
« on: September 27, 2009, 09:47:40 am »
Found these in Tesco (as those following me on Twitter will already know).
Cinabar (the massive Milka fan) has told me that these normally come from Germany so well done Tesco + Milka for bringing them to these shores.
They are very good indeed (like a dime that got smashed up and fell into a vat of lovely swiss chocolate).

My Sainsburys used to have milka but this seems to have been replaced with the Bloomsbury bars (you know 'emergency choc', 'girth control' etc). Waitrose is probably a good bet.

I also tried the Milka with Daim, completely forgot to add a thread here. Very nice; not much different from eating a Daim bar I suppose though! It's a bit like the CDM with Crunchie pieces in terms of choc to filling distribution.

Daim/Dime is made by Marabou - Swedish. Milka is/was Austrian originally.
Both Marabou and Milka are part of Kraft now but Ikea (naturally) are only interested in the Swedish products.

I'm now starting to get hungry for some more chocolate flarn :P

Ikea stock Marabou milk chocolate with Dime pieces... mmm... but I had no idea Marabou was the original makers of Dime!

I found this in Tesco and tried it. It was very nice - but at 95p for a thin bar - it will only ever be a rare treat for me.
Old but spicey!
