By George they’ve done it!

Those clever people at Nestle have given us Kit Kat Caramac. I’m not usually one for the introduction of strange flavours of established chocolate bars, usually introduced as a marketing gimmick, but this time I approve.

I am a big fan of Caramac, even though I don’t find them very easy to Locate. Always been a fan of Kit Kat, although not the chunky version, which in my opinion is a disaster. The thing that makes Kit Kat special is the balance of choc. to waifer, too much chocolate ruins the chunky version.

Any way

I am so glad I found this web site, I can rant about one of my favourite topics with out people reminding me how insignificant it is.

I'm really addicted to this caramac kit kat. At first I thought it was gross but now I've grown to love that sugary caramel creamy taste on the wafers. mmmmm I want more

It's a shame it doesn't actually taste of the "real" Caramac though. Compare the two and you will notice the difference.

BTW I love Kitkat chunky a lore more than the normal ones. More wafer and more chocolate = yum yum.

That's not real Caramac - I meant how it used to be when it was Mackintosh's.  I agree with you about the stuff you get now.

It's not too bad after the first couple of pieces. It's very sweet.

Perhaps that's the problem - I've never been able to get past the first couple of pieces!

Caramel type products generally are sweet so what do you expect?

What I meant was after the initial sweetness of the first chunk or so, you get used to it and you can then enjoy the rest.

Ahh. I would love to know what it tasted like before Nestlé bought
Rowntree Mackintosh, as people are always saying how good it used to
be. I think it's fine already so it must have tasted amazing
before.
