I think she's got a great voice, but be honest - if she looked like Katherine Jenkins, would there be this much fuss about her? It's pretty sad that people (and I have to admit, me included) assumed physically unattractive would mean talentless.

I like the boy-girl who sang Nessum Dorma.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I don't think she's that bad looking. She might not look that up-to-date but she's far from ugly. It must hurt her terribly what people are saying about her looks.
Old but spicey!

This generally happens when you hit the limelight.

Some say she looks like she has been hit by a bus not limelight.

The Britain's Got Talent finalist lost her temper in the lobby of the Wembley Plaza Hotel in North London after being "wound up" by journalists.

Police stationed at the hotel intervened in the situation and Boyle, 48, was photographed talking to two officers in the car park following the incident.

A spokesman for Boyle said: "The police were escorting a journalist from the premises who had been winding Susan up.

"Susan and her sister were talking to the police telling them what had happened."

Reports said the church worker from Blackburn, West Lothian, dubbed the Hairy Angel for her unkempt appearance on her show debut, launched a foul-mouthed outburst at the strangers and had to be calmed down by officers.

One onlooker said:"It took her a long time to calm down from whatever upset her. She was breathing heavily and in a terrible rage."

Reports also said the star flew into another rage on Tuesday as show judge Piers Morgan lavished praise on rival singer Shaheen Jafargholi while she watched on TV in the hotel bar.

She reportedly swore and flicked V signs at the TVbefore storming off, but again her spokesman denied it happened.

"She was in the bar but again these journalists kept coming up to her hassling her for interviews," she said.

"Susan is fine now, and if the press backed off the poor woman she would be even better.

She looked quite happy she didn't win as well.  She's still going to make a lot of money, though.

People who come second in these shows always seem to be more successful than the winners.

I agree, she looked much happier and relaxed once the pressure was off and Diversity won. I heard now she has had some kind of breakdown though. I voted for Stavros, thought the Queen would find them entertaining.
