M&S Chocolate Cupcakes
« on: April 18, 2009, 06:38:19 pm »
Today I bought a pack of four chocolate cupcakes from M&S in their new Cake Shop range.  They were really, really nice!  They're chocolate sponge with a semi-solid dark chocolate filling covered in thick, chocolate buttercream.  They cost £2.49 (usually £2.99) at the moment because they're on offer and they're definitely worth it.  There are also others in the range, like Carrot, Strawberry & Cream and Lemon Meringue flavours.

This isn't any cupcake, this is an M&S cupcake!  ;D

Oh, and not to mention the new layered chocolate cake from the same range.  It looks really yummy!  WOO, HOO!!!  :P

Today I bought the raspberry and white chocolate ones. Still on offer £2.49 for 4. These could be the best cake i've ever tasted.

My boys tried the percy pig cakes. They seemed to like them.

I tried the Raspberry and White Chocolate ones today and they were yummy, but I still feel the Strawberry & Cream ones have the edge.  Of course, the chocolate ones beat them both!

I've only seen the Raspberry and White Chocolate and the Belgian choc ones. I may try the chocolate ones this week.

I had a Greggs triple choc muffin today. It was delicious! Gooey chocolate on the inside along with chunks of chocolate embedded in the sponge.

I had one of those Greggs choc muffins on Thursday. I too loved the gooeyness. They also do a white chocolate and raspberry muffin but i am not keen on white choc.

Greggs triple choc cookies are good too.  In fact most of what Greggs sell is good - I have to walk past on the other side of the road as there's one too close to where I work.

I pass three on my way to work so that's a jam donut, a choc crispy cake and a muffin. ;D
