If you have FireFox, shouldn't be a problem, FireFox will warn if a script is posing a risk.

Unfortunately they do not subject Flash media to the same rigors.

Yes, FLash poses more of a risk you your web browser than people actually realise as it is able to perform client side (yyour browser) actions that are not available in regular Javascript.

Fact that you can with creative scripting, produce Flash animations and such in regular javascript, problem being that the programs are rather long. If you could time warp back to the days before Macromedia released Flash, you would soon see what I am talking about.

In a nutshell, Javascript safer than Flash.

How do I know? Well having my browser hijacked by a flash site for one...

Yep, shoutbox should be up and running now (sorry the permissions for it got wiped and put under an unlabelled section).
Colouring things might still take me a bit of time as I don't have a decent batch image program on my laptop (have to use my desktop machine instead).
Please post if anything else looks/works a bit off.

I am surprised you didn't back up the baord, including files and then just use the upgrade packager thingamajigger in the Admin CP.

Yeah, eh I did all of that but the upgrader didn't do everything needed to the theme - the upgraded version of the old theme was basically unreadable when looking at posts so I'm left with customising the default theme instead.

Banner logo linked (will centralise it next).
remaining bugs:
-last icon in nav menus has missing background image - this looks like a CSS issue and could be a bug generally with the setup/layout

Any others?
