Reese's Nutrageous
« on: January 06, 2009, 01:47:26 pm »
Good news!
This seems to be 'officially' available now, although Tesco and Sainsbury seem to have been stocking it for a while now. But now loads of places have it with a big 'New!' on the packaging, so I think it's a full nationwide launch. Yay! But...

Bad news
I don't know if this is down to the super-size police or to cost-cutting, but it looks significantly smaller than the 'unofficial' US version of the bar (although it's possibly a bit chunkier). Has it come down in price? Has it hell! Still 59p!

So in summary, I'm both  ;D and  >:( .

Smurf-meister, there is a new smaller version out. I bought one a few weeks ago in Asda (I think). It was 35p I'm fairly sure. The bigger one is still around too. I saw them side by side.

Hmm, interesting - the version I saw was marked at 59p. But then again, my local Tesco had Haagen Dazs for £4, reduced from £4; apparently a saving of £1.40!

I saw this the other day .....

In my Tesco they had two boxs sitting net to each other priced at 59p a bar ... the thing was in one box sat the 62.5g version from Canada ... whilst in the other sat the *new* 50.0g version! What really left me scratching my head was that the 50.0g box was more empty
