Cadburys Caramel is coming back - hurrah!

Yes, looks like Cadbury finally realised that all that brand amalgamation was a bad idea after all and Caramel is coming back.
No bunny though  :'(

It's not as nice as it used to be.  Reverting back to its old self means that Cadbury could tamper with the recipe even more.

Apparently no to the return of the bunny :(
Wonder if it means dairy milk double chocolate will revert to caramel double chocolate dream?

I doubt it; it was never really that strong a brand, and I can't imagine most people see CDM Double Choc as a replacement for it. I do wonder if it might mean a return for Nuts About Caramel though?

It's interesting; I saw a yellow wrapper on the pavement the other day, and my first thought was 'that's a Cadbury's Caramel wrapper' (although of course it wasn't). It shows there's still a strong association there. Personally I think the CDM with... strategy was a good one in many ways - it worked well for variations - scrapping established brands like Cadbury's Caramel wasn't such a smart move. I'm quite looking forward to the return of the old-style chunks.

What does everyone think the bite-size products also mentioned in this article will be like?

"Meanwhile, Cadbury is launching a range of chocolate-covered raisins, peanuts and crumbles in an attempt to make a major assault on the bite-size market"

I'm guessing raisiny, peanuty and crumbly!

Is that what you charge per hour or a good night's takings?
