Oil & Vinegar

Anyone visit this place?
I was in the other day eating half the shop (as you do) with the various samples when Marble and I spotted a selection of vinegars.
There were the usual vinegars as well as raspberry, strawberry and the best of all CHOCOLATE!
It was so good we bought one of their 175ml bottles of the stuff.
Great with bread or even on vanilla ice cream as I tried last night.
It seems a weird combination but tastes fantastic. Check it out if you pass a store.

Yes, a franchise chain. The atmosphere is great they have lots of little tasting tables dotted around the shop floor with bread sticks or pieces of bread to dip into sauces, dips, oils, etc they have made up.
You just help yourself and inevitably end up buying loads because of the great smells and tastes.
I visited the one in Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow. I am sure there are quite a few around the UK.

Olives, vinegars, blocks of handmade chocolate with different additions to them, sauces such as Peri peri (F***in' hot!), dried mixes to add to may to make fruity salsas and such like. A bit of an Aladdin's cave really.
We do the pilgrimage at Christmas. :D

It does tend to be their own brand stuff as far as I can recall, Lou.

This place sounds WAY too posh and sophisticated for Peterborough. Our latest store to open was a branch of Jane Norman!
Old but spicey!

I see it is advertised in Waitrose, Sainsburys and Asda but definitely not available in any supermarkets up north.
