X Factor

Who's been watching? I have to agree with those two girl bands beeing in the bottom two last night and either of them could quite easily have been voted off. I think the ones who stayed will go next week.
Alexandra to win.

I like the little blonde boy and the dark boy with bushy hair. They've got good voices and it's time we had some youngsters back in the music business (like Donny and Michael years ago!).

What a load of crap!
If he geniunely thought that was funny then it is the first nail in his coffin regarding his comedy career.
It difficult to distinguish that from the real thing at times, albeit that the real thing is unintentionally amusing. Profanity before the watershed was uncalled for and then Cat Deeley's outburst was just cringeworthy!
The second half just seemed to drag on and on.
Sorry Peter, it just won't ding-dang do.

I didn't think the girl bands deserved to be in the bottom two - I think they probably suffered from a split vote (i.e. fans of girl groups picked the one they liked best, and there weren't enough votes to support two acts).

Am I the only one who thinks it's grossly unfair that last year Emily was thrown out for an alleged (and I emphasise alleged) happy slapping, yet this year an ex-con with a drug problem is given unconditional support?

It does sound like double standards.  I treally hate it when a candidate goes to an audition and gives the judges a sob stroy. It's so corny and emabarrassing.

I don't like that Rachels attitude. Why should the public feel sorry for someone who has been in prison and had her kids taken into care?

I know it's unkind, but I can't help feeling the same Lou. Also, she says she's doing this for her kids, but how can it be good for her kids if she wins? They'll never see her! All they'll get is a ton of material things. I bet they'd be much happier with just her undivided attention.

Rachel's voice is phenomenal.  I think allowing the public to vote is spoiling the show.  It should be left to the judges.  Daniel should be out by now; he's a lovely guy but he's a pub singer.  He murdered One day in your life.

Daniel only got through because of his story. Yes, it's desperately sad that his wife died in childbirth, but the harsh truth is that doesn't make him any more talented. Would he honestly be there if his wife was still alive?

Has this been fixed for Laura to win? She has been secretly dating the X Factor boss for months. He is a millionaire and very close friend of simon cowell. We shall see.

The results are based on the public's vote, who got it right last night, so it's impossible to fix.  ITV would be closed down if they did.

Last night Rachel was a show stopper, her voice is extraordinary and her performance was that of a professional.  The next Shirley Bassey?

Everyone else is in a different league.  Laura peaked too soon if you ask me.  I think Alexandra is very good and so is the 17 year old girl whose name escapes me.  Eioghan will take some beating but I think he will have a great career and not win X Factor.  Daniel rightly went through on the sing off but how long can he hang on for?
