Daniel got through on the sympathy vote yet again. He'll probably make the top five on it then go out.

I wish Daniel would lose that ridiculous ear stud and the hair dye.

Leona Lewis now says she wants to follow in the footsteps of Anjelina Jolie and adopt some African kids. Don't these celebs ever fancy adopting a kid in this country?

An African child is like an accessory to some celebrities - 'this season's must-have'. They don't want to adopt in this country because it's very hard to adopt a baby here; they don't want a child who's been in and out of care. That doesn't fit the A-List image, does it?

I'd adopt a yellow kid to match my new bag.

I like them too; although I find Diana's doe-eyed routine a bit too much. When she did 'Smile' a couple of weeks back they had her done up like one of those crying clown dolls you can buy from the Sunday supplements in 36 easy installments.

we were kinda rooting for austin in this household. mainly because we used to watch that other tv show he was on. anyone else catch it a year or two ago? Boys Will Be Girls... he played a fairly convincing girl.

Diana looks like a girl in one of my stories.

Rachel's voice is anything but generic.

as for rachel - there's always a soul-diva type singer just like her in these shows who everyone raves about. it's just nothing that different or original, as far as i'm concerned.

Does she look like a boy in your other stories then?

The great British public got it wrong again last night.  There's no way Ruth should have been in the sing off and was arguably the strongest on the night.  Daniel was a bit better but only a bit but should still go.  Rachel had a nightmare of a night but is still to my mind a fantastic vocalist, but needs to have a big song.  Laura peaked too early and was probably slightly unlucky last night but was on thin ice. Eioghan and the guys are going strong.  Alexandra I thought had a week performance but will be there in the shake-up.  I hope sweetie pie Diana gets better quick.
