Lime Aero
« on: October 02, 2004, 05:02:17 pm »

I have seen these at last - in Woolworths. My daughter and i decided to share one but after one finger each we gave up - deciding it was too sweet and synthetic. We saved the other two fingers for my son and husband but they also thought the bar was nasty.

The white chocolate and over-powering synthetic lime flavour make the bar an unpleasant experience. I feel Nestle should stop messing around with flavours and shapes and get on with improving quality.

Yes, they're disgusting aren't they?  I too went to Woolies today and tried something that I'd been meaning to for ages - Double Choc.  That will definitely become a habit - best chocolate I've tasted in ages.

Yes, this is a great bar, especially for Nestle. Another nice bar I tried a few while ago is Green & Blacks Organic Milk Chocolate with Butterscotch. This is a high quality bar with butterscotch crunch but it is very pricey at over £2 per bar. It is striclty for special treats only.

I find it surprising how often I need a special treat!

Why did I call this post Lime Aero? It should, of course be Lime Kitkat.

Had a lime kitkat today and thought the lime very strong.I've never been a white choc lover but the choc didn't taste like choc and all i could think of was lime opal fruits for some strange reason.

I agree. These taste very artificial. They won't be around for long. The Chunky Seville Orange ones are better than expected though.

The seville orange ones are too bitter and the caramel ones are sickly.
