Shane Ritchie has lovely eyes.  I fancy him like mad actually.  None of the original Carry On men were what you could call hot stuff. Jim Dale wasn't bad but he was so wet.

When you think about it there's none of the original carry on crew that you would like to see take their clothes off but Vinnie.......I want him naked.

What's your favourite Carry On lien? Ive got two:

Hatty Jaques pursuing Kenneth Williams in one of the docotr/nurse carry Ons.

"No Matron, No! Get off! Remember, I was once a weak man!"

"That's alright. Once a week's enough for any man!"

Sid James being told off by Joan Simm's protective mother before their holiday in Carry On Camping

"She might believe you have honerbale intentions, but I've got sore misgivings"

"Well, you'd better put some talcolm powder on them!"

I love Carry On movies. I cannot pick a favourite out of them all.
But for favourite lines I'd have to go with Carry On Up The Khyber.

Joan Sims and crew sitting at the dining table with guns and cannons sounding all around, eating soup, when the ceiling comes down on top of them and Joan Sims picking a large lump of ceiling from behind her tiara says "Oh dear, I appear to have gotten a little plastered!"

Classic.

I absolutely agree that they cannot even be matched for humour these days. Any new movies are only sad copies of a priceless original, and I would rather look at the 'real thing' than a faked out copy.

Also, the real thing was very closely related to the culture of the times in which they were orginally written and you can't re-create that.

I must be the only person who's never watched a Carry On film all the way through.

I have never seen one all the way through neither. I used to find them irritating.

Is this actually going ahead now? It's been in the planning for years but the funding fell through at least once. Andrew Whyment left Corrie to be in it but ended up begging for his job back because the film fell through.
