Can you drink your tap water?

Mine is horrible.  Tastes like soil.

While Los Angeles was handing out Oscars, the city itself has won an award for having the tastiest tap water in the United States.

In the Midlands, our water is treated before it reaches the taps.  It doesn't really taste of anything.  I drink a lot of bottled water.

I find it very hard to drink water at all. Our tap water is OK but i prefer the water we get at work from a special machine. It's kept cold too.

It varies enormously depending on where you live. My parents are served by South Staffs water and it's not nice to drink at all, whereas I'm across the city and with Severn Trent, and it's fine.

It never stops pissing with rain here. We seem to have decent soft water too.
Just a shame that I don't like water on its own.

My dentist said my mouth ulcers were caused by drinking too much water.

Our tap water is fine - I prefer it to bottled.

We have South Staffs water here.  It's absolutely awful.  Last Wednesday we were treated to a whole evening of our water coming out BROWN!  We were told not to worry, it was just salt sediment...on the other hand, don't bathe in it or drink it without boiling first!  Like you are REALLY going to boil brown water and drink it...
