Chocolate Bar collection
« on: February 18, 2008, 01:30:24 pm »

I have a small collection of Chocolate Bars from around 1998-2000 all unopened. Most are special edition ones such as Aztec-2000 bar Mars Dark and Gold , Smarties secrets, Kit Kat mint etc.

I am thinking about  putting them on Ebay, do you think there are any other collectors out there who would be interested or is it just me being a saddo for collecting them?

Although they are still intact clearly they couldn't be eaten now.

An original Wispa bar recently got bids of over 50 quid on eBay, so there are certainly collectors out there who will pay. Give it a try!

Yeah I might give it a go next week. They will probably sell for nothing though. Cry

If I was going to buy retro choccie on Ebay, I think I would only be interested in pre 1990 bars.  You occasionally see the odd listing for a Marathon.  I must admit that I have been tempted to purchase one but my common sense side always kicks in first!

I haven't found the time to put them up for auction yet but maybe you are right in that I should keep hold of them for a while longer.

Someones is actually selling an Aztec 2000 bar on Ebay at the moment. Only one person has bid at 99p.

I will keep my eye on it.

But maybe the collection as a whole would be more valuable.
