Weird in a different way - that's my diplomatic answer!

Only joking SillyYank; I just find it amusing how many Americans say English food is bland and then eat stuff like this, or Texan food with pork deep fried in syrup etc. I'll stick to bland thanks!

Well, there would be a lot of strong flavours in something like pork deep fried in syrup (if there is such a thing!), but I would prefer something 'blander', myself!

I used to eat beef jerky before I went veggie and liked it, it's just like pepperami sticks - unless you go for the heavy duty style of beef jerky, which I didn't enjoy so much.

I wouldn't say all English food is bland, it's just different.

I see the title of the post and think of Apu asking Homer if that is what he wants.

I must watch that program too much.

I'd forgotten about Pepperami; I suppose they are pretty similar. I'm a veggie too so have never sampled either, thankfully!

I used to love pepperami but no more not since that documentary about the donkey meat going into salami.
