Got you!  OK, so Zoe is 21, that makes Kat around 37, so her mother would have been around 57.  I reckon Charlie is around that age but I wouldn't think his mother-in-law (name escapes me for the moment, oh yes Mo) is 77. But she's meant to be considerably more than 57 I would say.  So yes, you're right.

Okay, had a look at the eastenders website.

However, we know that Kat was 13 when she got pregnant, so therefore she would only have been at the most 14 when she had Zoe, so therefore

Zoe = 21

Kat = 35 D.O.B.: 14.01.1970

We don't know anything about Viv, other than she was married to Charlie Slater in 1967. So therefore she must have been at least 18 in 1967 ( it could be 16 by special licence, but im trying to keep this as reasonable as possible). This would mean that

Viv = about 55

Which is reasonable when you remember the history repeating itself storyline when Kat told Zoe that she was her mum. Kat said that her mum (viv) looked after Zoe when she was born because she didn't want the baby to ruin her life like it had her nan's (Mo) Which wouldn't make it impractical that she was 13/14 when she had Viv.

Mo's birthdate is D.O.B.: 18.02.1936

Charlie : D.O.B.: 13.05.1941

So Charlie is only five years older than his mother-in-law. So Mo is coming up to 69 - still a bit young in my book.

In real life Laila Morse (Mo) is actually younger than Derek Martin (Charlie)! In the Pat and Mo special last year, they tried to explain this a bit by revealing Viv wasn't Pat's niece after all, but Mo already had her when she married Pat's brother Jimmy (the real father being 'some bloke' she met on the Waltzers as a teenager.) So here's another unanswerable question - why wasn't Viv brought up as Mo's sister, as Zoe was alongside mother Kat two generations later?

Same reason as little mo's baby isn't being brought up as her sister. At some times parents dont take on their kids responsibilities.

Er... I imagine Little Mo's baby isn't being brought up as her sister because a) she's over 30, not a teenager and b) her mother has been dead for six years - that might tip Freddie off in the future!

It could be brought up by one of her other sisters though...
