I don't think coffins are burnt in cremations. i think they take the body out and sell the coffin back to the coffin maker. obviously undertakers and coffin makers have some deal going or else there would be as many coffin makers as there are undertakers...discuss.

at least it would save trees. i hope my coffin gets recycled, i wouldnt mind using someone elses, id be dead anyways so i wouldnt know...

I quite agree. A cardboard box would do me - coffins are a ridiculous waste of money and resources.
