I have been having a heated debate with friends who didn't believe that Walnut Whips used to have a walnut inside as well as on the top - I won that argument LOL but now need to know when the manufacturer stopped putting the second walnut in the Walnut Whip?

Can anyone help please

Thanks Smile

It must be early 70's as I do not recall them but have been told about them.

I remember when you couldn't say 'walnut whip' without saying Duncan's. It was always 'Duncan's Walnut Whip' much in the same way that it was always 'Mackintoshes Toffee Crisp'

My corner shop scoffs at my idea that coffee walnut whips ever existed but that idiot doesn't remember the waxed card tray inside Bountys either.

So do I.  Wasn't there one in Milky Way too?  (The double ones).
