i hate store brand ketchup. it's either heinz or branston or nothing! salad cream - i can quite happily eat a cheap brand. can't really tell the difference there.

Yes definitely - love the stuff and all its varieties.

Have you seen a decorated Christmas tree yet?  (I have - in Sainsbury's, couldn't believe it)

it just wouldn't be xmas without a great big toblerone.

How can there be any doubt?   STAR WARS of course, the greatest films ever made!  And yes, I have them on Blu Ray (Amazon was the cheapest).

How will your Christmas budget compare to last year's - will you be spending more, less or about the same?  Definitely less for me!

(i love them both relatively equally, but the way i see it is LOTR is 100% excellent... where as star wars is only 50% excellent - sorry... i loathe episode 1 with a passion, slightly disliked 2 and kinda liked 3, ish. what a dilemma!)

definitely spending less. still going to be a blast though.

sticking with the star wars saga here - which film of the 6 in your opinion is the best one? (and why?)

I still have a particular affection for 'Return of the Jedi', probably because I used to watch it over and over with my kids when they were small.  One of my youngest son's first sentences was 'I do not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation' although I'm not sure which film that was from!  Nobody could believe their ears when he came out with it.

Are you having or going to a fireworks display this weekend?

(come on, goldie! Empire was the best! Return = too many muppets and furry bear creatures for my liking!)

no, not a personal one. we'll just go to the one on weymouth beach as usual. then the weekend after there's another more extravagant one nearby where i live, so we'll probably hit that one too.

indoor fireworks... should they bring them back in a big way or what?

There are two reasons why I don't wanna do in door fireworks. 1. My parents have asthma and they might get suffocated if we do it 2. I'm scared of it.  :-[

It's a midnight blue tree (artificial obviously) with gold, silver and blue decorations.  No red or green this year.

yes, when done correctly. if i had a house i'd probably be right into them, but there's not much you can do with a flat.

have you ever seen the blackpool lights, and what did you make of them?
