stallone's mum has got to be a contender. but there are so many! leslie ash's lips are a personal fave - mainly because that one was so unnecessary.

'Fantasia'. yes, i know it's a classic and an amazing achievement and all that... but it really didn't make for a very good movie. it was like watching someones portfolio of achievements, completely devoid of plot or character - you know, those pesky little details that make a film a film?

sticking with movies... lets take a step back a whole decade and look at the nominations for best picture at the 2001 oscars. looking back now in a hypeless environment, which film do you think should have won?
Chocolat, Gladiator, Erin Bricovich, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon or Traffic?

(or none of the above?)

The only one of these I have seen is Erin Brocovich, which was good but probably not Oscar winning material.

Lee Harvey Oswald because he hated the president for the Bay of Pigs incident. I'm not big on conspiracy theories.

charlie sheen is who he is. he's been like if for years. i personally have nothing against the guy. i'm a bit annoyed they fired him from 'two and a half men' before they could finish the series (not that i watch it religiously, but it's good background noise.) compared to some celebrities in similar shoes, his antics are actually fairly tame. (take a look at robert downey jr. a few years back... nowadays he's embraced as an american hero!) so, people - leave the sheen alone!

on that subject, why do you think we never see anything of emilio estevez these days when he was clearly the better actor?

I always get the impression Emilio considered himself a more 'serious' actor. You can't picture him doing something like Two and a Half Men, in which Charlie Sheen basically plays a cartoon version of his public persona. And that's the kind of not-very-prestigious-but-lucrative gig that keeps second division film stars in the public eye.

Is Adele genuinely the amazing talent she's currently being made out to be, or is there an element of novelty because she doesn't look like your average pop star?

The latter.  I find her very irritating.  If you want the 'not the average pop star' look, I prefer Susan Boyle's singing.
