I'd probably just put it back in the post - unless it looked juicy. Although I do have a good story about this. My dad once opened a letter that was delivered to our house but addressed to someone else, and it was from a couple we'd fallen out with to another couple we'd also fallen out with! Best of all, the contents were really embarrassing :)

When did you last drop a real clanger?

In 1971, I won a competition to meet Oliver Postgate. Was allowed to handle several of his figures including Noggin the Nog and one of the Clangers. Being a rather clumsy 6 year old, I dropped it, but it was OK.  I really wanted to get my hands on the Soup Dragon but it was her day off.

No - there are far more car crashes than plane crashes. I'm more likely to be run over as a pedestrian than I am to be killed in a plane crash.

Yes, frequently in my youth, mostly for motorcycling but also for rock festivals etc.  I still own a pair but can't see myself actually wearing them again.

What is the oldest item of clothing you possess, that you still wear?

I've got a couple of vest tops that were the height of fashion in 1999/2000 (I promise!) that I still wear occasionally in summer.
