What is your favourite coffee shop?

There's a nice one in Newcastle. I believe it's called Esquires but I only drink their tea and hot chocolate.

Do you think cigars smell nice?

No, vile.

What are your favourite and least favourite smells?

Favourite - freshly mown grass
Least favourite - diesel/kerosene

What is the nicest country you've visited?

Switzerland.
What is your first memory?

Sitting in my grandmother's lounge on a Sunday morning with my dad, looking out of the window. I thought I was going to see my mother and the new baby arrive home from hospital.

What's your happiest childhood memory?

Retrospectively: Golden cups being 15p.
Then: Watching and being The Six Million Dollar Man. (Not literally, you understand)

Are today's children morally bankrupt?

Yes.

Do you shop at Primark or do you avoid it after the documentary showing 6 yr olds sewing sequins onto tops?

I've never shopped there; don't like the sizing and the assistants are not helpful.

Have you any experience of being made redundant?

[smurfboy]

Yes, unfortunately - although I was lucky in a way, as the firm went bust a few weeks later and the remaining staff had to wait ages for their money.

What would you do if you lost your job tomorrow?

Get a new and better one.

Are you a hoarder or do you regularly de-clutter?

I regularly de-clutter.

Do you enjoy any part of housework?  I quite enjoy cleaning windows.

I wouldn't say 'enjoy', but I don't mind ironing.

A recent report says the Royal family cost us 66p a year each. Good value?

I imagined they cost more but even 66p is too much.  I don't need or like them.
