I watched El Dorado in it's day. It seemed like one of those soaps that takes place in a dimension different to ours, much like Triangle, Sunburn and Doctors.

Risotto - naked or added cream?

Rum, every bloody time. I like it white, golden, dark or aged.

What alcoholic beverage can you not stand?

My work wife and her real-life husband are both huge whisky fans and keep getting me to taste different ones - I haven't the heart to say they all taste like drain cleaner to me.

On a similar topic, what do you do to humour your friends?

i sit there and nod along and pretend listen to them when they're droning on and on about endless football results and who's gone to what club for how muchetc. etc. (i have zero interest in football. the real weird thing is they know this, but does it shut them up?)

how long have you known your oldest friend? (as in someone who you are in frequent contact with today... not facebook or anything.)

Since I was 4 - 47 years!  I have another friend of 43 years' standing and many more from secondary school days.

Which would you rather be without - TV or Internet?

I could be without the TV, because I need the internet for games and I could watch the iPlayer for TV anyway!

16 year old upper class girls and boys who throw lavish birthday parties for themselves. Right or wrong?

WRONG! (and making a tv show about it is even worse.)

be honest... do you download stuff off the internet illegally?

Yes. I dare anyone to say no. My mother-in-law downloads stuff that her friends put up on 'special' areas of their sites. She does not view herself as doing anything wrong and feels she should not be wearing an eyepatch!

What's the most sensitive thing you've downloaded illegally?

i got a copy of Star Wars episode III on it's release day - that's about as daring as i get. (quality was rubbish, by the way. put me off the whole dvd piracy thing.)

do you own or will you consider owning in the near future a blu-ray player?

No and no. It's just another way for the electronics industry to screw money out of people desperate for the 'latest thing'. Hell, I still have a CRT TV.

When did you finally stop using your VHS player (assuming you have)?

Windows 7 (64 bit, of course) and it bloody rocks! I'd never go back to XP.

Are you a PC or a Mac?
