How could anyone not enjoy a takeaway?  I think that if I'm not cooking, what's not to like?  Anyway, the last one was a Chinese a couple of weeks ago and yes, I loved it.

Does anyone actually use the grill on their microwave if it's got one?  My micro needs replacing and I can't decide whether to go for the absolute basic type or something more complicated.

@cherry - i just bought a bootleg copy of the complete series (fairly good quality too!) off ebay. why wont they give it an official release? that show was/is amazing!

back to the game - never had a micro like that. stick to basic!

what do you do at night to get to sleep if mr. insomnia comes calling?

wjp, I bought a dvd like that off ebay, a long time ago now, and the quality is rubbish. My old VHS copies are better! I hope yours is better quality.
goldencup, it's one of life's mysteries ... who does use the grill on their microwave?!?

If I can't sleep, and this used to be a real problem for me when I suffered from anxiety, I watch snooker. I used to have a VHS tape of snooker which I could watch and it never failed to send me to sleep (yes, I know it was the same match over and over)

It's Thursday, what are you going to do this evening?

Going to sunny Weymouth for the weekend (waves to wjp).

Have recent events put you off flying?

Not at all. It's never happened before, so in all likelihood it won't happen again any time soon.

If you'd been stranded, would you have pretended to still be stuck there once you got home to have an extra day off?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

@goldencup - it's lovely down here at the moment, what with all the sun. hope you enjoy it!

back to the game - yes, definitely. but you wouldn't be able to leave the house or anything just in case you bumped into the wrong person, so maybe it's not as good as it sounds.

do you personally know anyone who was stranded by the volcano? if so, where were they?

@wjp - yes I had a great weekend thank you!

Yes - a friend of mine is STILL stuck in Tokyo - she was due back last Saturday (17th) and is not expecting a flight until 2 May.

Whoops, sorry!

Have you made up your mind who to vote for (if you're voting at all)?

Yes!

Is anyone here voting for other than the main three parties?

Has anyone got a chocolate egg left?
