...It's that high pitched whine you hear when a receiver is close to a transmitter, but try explaining it technically and your head will blow up.

A tiramisu at work yesterday.

What was your best pleasant surprise this year?

It must be getting on for ten years, as that's when my parents last replaced their stereo.

Have you ever tried catching the other bus?

0.
I once tried catching the other bus but the conductor (shows how long ago it was) kept asking for my season ticket if I wanted to go all the way. I said I just wanted a quick ride to the next junction and could he let me have a free shot this time. I was thrown off and vowed never to catch that bus again.

Are you good with colours?

Yes, quite vividly.  Boy next to me cried all morning, which disturbed me.  Teacher's name was Miss Brassington.

Have you ever been to a bank to swap some old notes?

Yes, I had to clear a house for an old lady and found some in a book.  The bank changed them ok.

Have you needed the heating on at home or work yet?  It seems to be freezing here this morning!

Put it on for the first time on Thursday.
How much money do you have on you now?  (and can you lend us a tenner?)

I have £87 in my purse and yes, of course I could lend you a tenner, although the interest rate would be negotiable!

Do you listen to the radio and if so, which stations?
