New Black Magic Selection
« on: November 08, 2007, 09:53:28 pm »
Today I bought two boxes of Black Magic as they were on special offer at Asda and I was feeling really greedy. I was just about to tuck into the first one when I discovered, much to my horror, that the selection had changed. What a disappointment. My favourite fruit soft centres, caramels, nut clusters, coffee creams etc, have been replaced by stodgy truffles and pralines. Hopefully this is a 'special edition' and not a 'new' Black Magic. In my opinion, truffles and praline chocolates are so old hat and boring. Please Nestle, bring back the fruit soft centres! I wonder does anyone else here share my opinion?

How long since you last had them?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

It really winds me up with chocolate box contents change with absolutely no warning to the consumer.  I would be incandescent if this happend to me. I love fruit creams and hate pralines.

I still haven't got over buying a large tin of Quality Street a few years back and finding a large part of the weight was made up with mini Yorkie bars with no indication on the tin. Yorkie bars are extremely vile.

Black Magic used to be a lovely selection until Nestle got their hands on them. The contents have changed several times since.  I remember as a small child my mum saving the cherry ones for me. They were half a cherry with a liquid and fondant surround. My mum liked the hard centres and I liked the soft centres so it was a very democratic sharing!

Old but spicey!

Goldencup, please forget my previous post, I didn't read your reply properly. Sorry about that! Been overdosing on too many Wispa bars :-)
