Simply Red are to split up in 2009, a quarter of a century after they formed, lead singer Mick Hucknall has revealed.
Am I the only person who thought they split up 10 years ago?

No body likes Mick Hucknell. It's one of the facts of life - everyone hates him - mostly without justification really because he's written some fantastic songs.
 

Much the same can be said about Phil Collins (except the bit about writing good songs) - he's inexplicabally but totally loathsome.

Phil Collins is very politically outspoken which I think has done him few favours in the past.
