Is anyone else fed up with Ghandi and Shama chatting away without making any contribution to the Forum what-so-ever? Or am I just being mean?

I think we are probably better off if they stay in chat .

I'm fed up with it too, but unfortunately I can't block anyone from chat as it's hosted on a different server - so for now we're stuck with them.

It seems they've dropped the Urdu and started using more English. I do wonder why they don't just use MSM though.

I don't think they'd be any trouble if they joined in with the posts but it just seems a bit rude to jabba away without reference to the rest of us.

Is it Urdu?  I didn't realise that this could be represented by the Roman alphabet.  bounty hunter2007-08-21 20:02:41

Do any of us really know what's being discussed? Should we be concerned?

I have friends at work who can read Punjabi.  I don't think there is a cause for concern.  I could post in Clingon, would that cause concern?  Damnit, I will do.

It's Urdu or Hindustan or something. Most Asian kids can speak their native language it but can't write it in their own script so they use a kind of agreed phonetic system I think.

Clingons are those little bogeys that you can't get off your finger. (somebody told me, not that I'd know)
Klingon is the ficticious StarTrek language.

They aren't even members.  They've obviously hijacked our chat box because they can't get onto normal Live Messenger wherever they are.  We have the same thing at work - people can't use MSN etc because it's blocked but they can use chats like ours.  I think it's the same in many workplaces/Colleges etc.

How do they get into our chat if they are not members? You have to log in don't you?

Ghandi is a member, I checked. As Oldspice said, it wouldn't be so bad if they spoke in English and were polite enough to say hello. I got the predictable mouthful when I call them up on it yesterday.

Sorry - indeed he is, I had checked too but was spelling it wrong - it's actually Gandhi.  Doesn't excuse them though!
