Do they still make the long finger which wasn't sectioned out ?
I think it was in a gold foil wrapper.

Great fun trying to stop the caramel from oozing out.

Good grief - I don't think that's been seen since the 70's!

More like the 80's.

Golden Cup's were phased out in the 90's werent they?.

I am sure I was eating them well into the 90's.

Delicious.

Perhaps with the Wispa saga, we can get old favs back, even for a short while.

The ones in chunks were around until the early 90's but the ones this thread refers to disappeared, erm, long before that!  (And thank you Paulham, I'll get you back later)LOL

its was discontinued after the eighties defo because I had them growing up!!  So at least mid ninties.  They were amazing!  I don't like a cadbury's caramel, but the golden cup was awesome.

No Golden Cups were phased out in the 2000s. I too miss them  :( (and yes I know Nestle made them).

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say early 90s.

I suppose it's better to see your favourite bar go whilst you can still remember and savour it's delights than have to endure it for a few more years as it declines into tasteless mush.
Old but spicey!
