Jk Rowling on writing her final Harry Potter book:

"I was sobbing my heart out, I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and went home with mascara all over my face, that was really tough," she said.

Going home with mascara on her face was tough?

On a pertinent theme, if that woman was chocolate she would eat herself.
I mean, it's a kids' book, an exiting one if you are 7 to 14, say. Those two cover editions(child and adult) really make me think some people need to visit their local library once in a lifetime, perhaps.

It must have cost her quite a bit for the cosmetic surgery - she looks years younger now than when the first book came out.

I hear fans have got a petition up to persuade JK Rowling to write more books. As far as I'm concerned she created the character, so it's up to her when she stops.

I still find it quite mind-boggling that she had all the ideas for the seven novels when she started, so she was apparently writing bits of all of them at the same time. There are some very clever moments with links between the books that are totally lost in the films but tie up loose ends for those that notice these things.
