Please put the following colours in order of what you feel is the most visually attractive .

Red, green, orange, blue, yellow, gold, brown, black, grey, purple.

And if you can please tell me which of the two colours listed go best together.

Red, orange, yellow, gold, blue, green, purple, brown, grey and (black).

Black is not a colour it is the absence of colour.  All matter absorbs electro-magnetic radiation at different wavelengths, and the wavelengths  of visible light which are not absorbed are reflected back.  As most of the spectrum is part of visible light our brains interpret this as colour.  Some things like a black hole absorb all the visible light i.e don't reflect anything back and therefore have no colour = black is not a colour.  QED.

Oooooooh look at that.......
When I copied and pasted those colours from your list Loulou, (because I'm far too lazy to type them all out seperately LOL) it infected my whole post and made it all pink. LOL

Sorry for pink pinching.

Oh look smurfboy...we like the same two colours best. That's nice. Smile

Nah you are both wrong. My logo design is half done.  It's a a block of choc with chocolate review etched through itSmile.  As for the Olympics design I would have just done this:
Medals

Back to colours.  The question is on a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like orange?

1 being not  a lot and 10 being a lot.
