what with all the Corrie and 'Enders threads recently, i thought i'd mention my fave US import...

 

has anyone here stayed with this series long enough to watch (and to some degree even understand) the season 3 finale on sky-one this week? it totally blew my head clean off.

I don't have Sky so I haven't seen any of series three. A friend at work is going to copy the episodes for me.

I lost my patience with this show about half way through series 2 I think it was. Somewhere in amongst the 'push the button - don't push the button, I lost the will to live and haven't watched it since.
 

I am sure I am probably missing some great TV, I still wonder if the world actually WOULD end if the button was not pushed!!! But I found my attention wandering, and when that happens to me it means it's time to find something else to watch.

they neglected to push the button at the end of season 2 and all hell broke loose. you should've stayed with it scarlet - it's a great show. (and i generally hate most tv.)

Yeah - I thought it was THE final ever episode so all was going to be answered - but no - surprise surprise another cliff hanger whilst we wait for the next series!!!
Some good stories going on though - I am assuming Kate is living with Sawyer whilst sneaking to meet Jack?

Was it Ben's funeral Jack attended??

i was under the impression it was ben's fineral. i guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

apparently there's going to be 3 more series of it, each at around 16 episodes each. and after that they've PROMISED us all a proper ending.

 

but we've gotta wait until january for the next one! erk!

That's a long time to wait for the answer to what's going on don't you think?

And almost a year to wait for the next series? Oh I am just not that patient....I'd be tearing my hair out by September!
